The Hardaway Hawks Baseball team scrimmaged Northgate High School on Friday as their last tune-up before the regular season starts. The Hawks shutout Northgate 6-0 in a shortened 5 inning game behind 4 pitchers. Jonathan Manibusan, Hunter Duke, Kendall Butler, and Robert McDaniel combined to shutout the Vikings while giving up only 2 hits.
Jonathan Manibusan and Hunter Duke paced the offense with 2 hits each and combining for 5 RBIs.
The Hawks begin the regular season on Tuesday as they travel to Harris County to face the Tigers in a non-region game. Game time is 5:30 PM.
